The NCCPH is a not for profit organization dedicated to raising money for charity, preserving and improving the environment, active in community oriented projects and concerns as a means of social interaction with like minded people interested in the lifestyle and music of Jimmy Buffett and possesses a tropical spirit loving life in the Rocky Mountains.
The Northwest Colorado Parrotheads have been spreading good cheer and Partying with a Purpose since 2008.

2010 Year End Review
Raised a total of $9926 for charity!
Completed a Boat Ramp at Loudy Simpson Park with donated time, equipment and materials
Conducted two river cleanups
Awarded a $700 scholarship to Emily Miller to attend the Perry Mansfield Performing Arts Summer Camp
Sponsored a June 5 recital for local guitar students with a grant of $465 to Tracey Hart, local music teacher and NCCPH member
Took 34 senior citizens on a float trip down the mighty Yampa River.
Fielded a NCCPH team for the Relay for Life and raised $4577 for the American Cancer Society
Assisted with a cottonwood tree planting project on the Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge
Entered a PHloat in the Parade of Lights once again, this year taking 3rd place
Supported the KRAI Holiday Drive with helping NCCPH hands to collect items dropped off at the radio station and with a total donation of $545 ($200 from our project funds, $295 in donations from our members, and the 3rd place prize of $50 from the Parade)
Finalized our application process for two – one thousand dollar scholarships to be awarded to Moffat County High School graduates interested in Musical Studies, Environmental Studies, and/or Volunteer Work or Community Activism.The scholarships will be awarded in the Spring of 2011.
Paid to repair six band instruments as part of our Music In the Schools program.Several students were able to rent the repaired instruments from the schools for a small fee and participate in the band program.Some of these students would not have been able to afford the larger rental from the music stores.
Held a number of fundraising events including beverage sales at Grand Old West Days, the Winter Festival held at the Wyman Museum, and the Hampton Inn’s Halloween Party and also held our second annual Art in the Park’n Lot.
